HK Semitech’s China subsidiary, Shanghai Yinghan International Co., Ltd., has signed an agency agreement with UJU Electronics, a leading manufacturer of electrical connectors, for the distribution of automotive connectors in China.   Shanghai Yinghan will exclusively supply UJU connectors to automotive manufacturers and distributors in China.   Moving forward, Shanghai Yinghan and HK Semitech will strive to provide the best solutions and ensure customer satisfaction in the automotive PCB connector sector.  

HK semitech was awarded the $5 Million Export Tower on December 5th.   The Export Tower award is presented by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) to companies that achieve new export records over the course of one year, from July of the previous year to June of the current year.   Following the $1 Million Export Tower award received in 2015, HK semitech has once again achieved a new milestone with this $5 Million award.   HK semitech will continue to strive not only to achieve these export milestones but also to contribute to enhancing the country’s export competitiveness and advancing the industry.  

HK semitech was selected as an Anyang City Women-Friendly Enterprise on September 12, 2023. Anyang City recognizes companies that strive to create a work-life balance for employees and promote gender equality in the workplace as "Women-Friendly Enterprises."   The signing ceremony took place at the Anyang City Hall reception room on September 12, with the participation of Anyang Mayor Choedae-ho and local business representatives.   HK semitech is committed to continuously contributing to the creation of a gender-equal work environment and the spread of a positive corporate culture, remaining dedicated to these values moving forward.  

HK semitech was selected as a Main-Biz (Management Innovation) small and medium-sized enterprise on September 4th.   Main-Biz (Management Innovation) refers to businesses that have been certified by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups as having implemented management innovations. HK semitech has signed an agency agreement with Fullstar, a Chinese manufacturer specializing in transformers, inductors, current sensors, and magnetic cores.   Founded in 2016, Fullstar is a specialized manufacturer of magnetic components, focusing on the production of transformers, inductors, choke coils, current sensors, and magnetic cores. The company currently supplies parts to major global customers.   HK semitech has entered into this agency agreement as a professional partner.  

HK semitech has signed an agency agreement with ChuanHua, a Chinese manufacturer specializing in inductors and transformers.   Founded in 2010, ChuanHua is a specialized manufacturer of coils, producing inductors, transformers, reactors, and other related components. The company currently supplies parts to global premium automotive parts companies and major battery box clients.   HK semitech has entered into this agency agreement and is now ensuring stable supply to key domestic customers.  

HK semitech signed an agency agreement with HYAC in May 2022. HYAC, founded in 2004 and located in Dongguan, China, is an innovative company specializing in the development and manufacturing of automotive parts. Recognized as a strategic partner by top global automotive customers, HYAC has secured numerous essential core technologies through continuous research and R&D investments.   As an authorized agent, HK semitech is currently ensuring stable supply to key domestic clients while expanding its business with new customers.  

HK semitech signed an exclusive dealership agreement with Glory Faith, a leading PCB manufacturer in China, in May 2022.   Founded in 2002, Glory Faith is a major PCB manufacturer specializing in 2L to 12L PCBs and HDI PCBs. The company’s products primarily serve applications in automotive electronic controls, convenience systems, security, power control systems, lighting, switches, and antennas.   As an exclusive dealer, HK semitech is currently ensuring stable supply to key domestic clients while also expanding its business with new customers.  

HK semitech has signed an agency agreement with Changhwan Connector Industries. Founded in 1988, Changhwan Connector Industries began as a specialized manufacturer of automotive terminals. The company has been involved in the development of automotive battery terminals and high-current terminals in Korea. It has focused on the development of products that balance functionality and workability, evolving from the early cast-type lead terminals and press-type terminals to forged-type smart terminals.   Today, the company has firmly established itself as a manufacturer of high-quality products, with a strong commitment to technology development and research investment for incorporating new technologies.  

HK semitech has signed an agency agreement with LS Automotive. Founded in 1973, LS Automotive is equipped with independent research and development capabilities and world-class manufacturing facilities and technologies for automotive electronic components.   Based on its position as the leader in automotive switch and relay manufacturing technology in Korea, LS Automotive is expanding its product range in the high-precision component sector while focusing on the development of high-value-added electronic products. The company is also accelerating research into products for next-generation vehicles, including autonomous vehicles and green cars.   As a result, LS Automotive has earned global recognition for its technological expertise, providing sensory and convenience products such as switches and lamps, as well as eco-friendly and safety products like sensors and ECUs, to prestigious clients such as Audi, Volkswagen, Chrysler, and Nissan.   HK semitech has now been appointed as a professional partner, and we kindly ask for your continued interest and cooperation regarding LS Automotive’s relay products in the future.  

HK semitech has signed a domestic agency agreement with Redboard, a leading PCB manufacturer in China.   Founded in 2005, Redboard is a major PCB manufacturer specializing in general PCBs, FPCBs, and RF-PCBs. The company is currently supplying critical components to the automotive and mobile industries through its global business network.   With this agreement, HK semitech is now an official partner, ensuring stable supply to key domestic clients.

HK semitech has obtained the Hyundai Motor Security Management Certification after meeting the security management standards set by Hyundai Motor’s Research and Development Division.    

HK Semitech Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the renewal and transition audit for the quality management system established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification.  

HK Semitech Co., Ltd. has filed a patent application for a high-voltage battery power switching device.   This patent is the result of a collaborative technology development project undertaken for our client, LS Automotive Co., Ltd., and encompasses key technologies essential for battery management in next-generation electric and hybrid vehicles.   In particular, the joint patent application with our client is expected to strengthen our technical collaboration and further solidify the partnership between the two companies.  

HK Semitech Co., Ltd. has entered into a distributor agreement with Halo Microelectronics, a manufacturer specializing in power semiconductors.   Founded in 2012 and headquartered in San Jose, California's Silicon Valley, Halo Microelectronics is a semiconductor manufacturer with expertise in high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit products.   The company has recently gained recognition, particularly in power management integrated circuits (PMIC) for automotive applications and wireless charging solutions. HK Semitech Co., Ltd. has signed a distributor agreement with Hestia Power, a company specializing in power semiconductors. Hestia Power Inc. is a fabless design house established in Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2013. With over 15 years of experience in research and development related to power semiconductors, the company possesses specialized technology in SiC (Silicon Carbide) and GaN (Gallium Nitride) power semiconductor switching devices.   Hestia Power has a particular strength in high-efficiency power semiconductor (SiC, GaN) products for automotive xEV applications and has selected HK Semitech as its specialized partner for automotive and various applications in South Korea.   We look forward to your active interest and collaboration regarding Hestia Power products in the future.

HK Semitech Co., Ltd. has jointly developed the Smart BDU (Battery Disconnect Unit) for xEV high-voltage battery systems with LS Automotive Co., Ltd. and has obtained utility model rights in Germany.  

On May 14, HK Semitech Co., Ltd. was selected as a component supply partner for LG Electronics and will be supplying the Hirschmann Connector Assembly, among other components, for the DC Charging BOX. Currently, our company is the official distributor for Hirschmann and supplies a variety of automotive components to numerous clients.

HK Semitech Co., Ltd. jointly obtained a patent (Application No. 10-2017-0040060) for the "Power Relay Assembly System" with LS Automotive Co., Ltd. on March 27. This patent represents a significant achievement in the development of an environmentally friendly vehicle (xEV) high-voltage battery switch device that incorporates electronic switches, achieved through collaborative research and development with our client, LS Automotive Co., Ltd..
